Swim Lessons
2009 Swim Lessons:Swim lessons give children the opportunity to learn how to swim in a fun and safe environment. Children are taught with new and innovative swimming techniques to improve their swimming skills and aquatic safety awareness. Group swimming lessons begin in May and continue through August. Private swim lessons are taught year round. Students are taught by qualified Swim Instructors. For further information, you can download the 2009 Swim Lesson Registration form or you can contact the Coggan Family Aquatic Complex front desk. Please note only certain levels are offered at each time slot. To find out what level is right for your child and time slots for each level, contact the Coggan Family Aquatic Complex front desk.

Private Swim Lessons(ages 3-adult)
Private swim lessons are set up to be individualized swimming instruction with a qualified staff instructor. Private swim lessons are taught year round on a first come first serve basis. Private lessons are 25 minute lessons focusing on specific problem areas or concerns. Private lessons are offered 7 days a week during normal pool operation hours. Inquire with the front desk for information concerning enrollment. Private lesson fees are as follows:
$29 per lesson
$135 for 5 lessons
$250 for 10 lessons
Club Water Polo / Club Swim Team
La Jolla Girls Water Polo Club

The La Jolla Water Polo club is an age group development program sanctioned by United States Water Polo. Our goal is to create an environment where younger athletes can gain exposure to the game of water polo and high school age athletes can develop their skills to make them competitive at the high school level and possibly, the higher skilled athletes, into college prospects. We encourage academics, good sportsmanship, healthy living, positive peer pressure, a drug free environment, and a strong, disciplined work ethic. We are a year round program that culminates each year with at trip in August to either the Junior Olympics or Hawaii for a national water polo tournament. We practice at the Coggan Family Aquatic Complex, on the La Jolla High School property, and play in local leagues and tournaments as well as in tournaments in Los Angeles and Orange County. Club Swim Team

The Wind N' Sea Swim Club is an age group swimming program sanctioned by United States Swimming. We offer swim programs that cater to the beginning competitive swimmer, the intermediate competitive swimmer, and those athletes that wish to compete at the highest levels in U.S. and high school swimming. Our goal is to promote good sportsmanship, academic success, a drug free environment, and a disciplined work ethic. We practice at the Coggan Family Aquatic Complex, on the La Jolla High School property, and will compete in local U.S. Swimming meets as well as U.S. Swimming regional and national meets. Looking to get fit? Come and join La Jolla Swim Masters. Workouts open to all ability levels.

Masters Fees:

2010 Summer Day Camps
Each one week camp session will center around a theme of the week where your child will enjoy a variety of fun activities. The camp will include indoor and outdoor games, swim lessons, sports, arts and crafts, drama, computers, recreational swimming and a weekly field trip. The price of each one week session includes two snacks, field trips, swim lessons and the weekly activities. Summer Camp runs from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Extended care available from 7:30am - 9:00am and 4:00pm - 6:00pm for $35/week.

2009 Summer Specialty Camps
Specialty camps are designed to be specialty camps that can be taken individually or combined with day camp. Each specialty camp is open to all ability levels. Specialty camps run from 9:00 am-12:00 pm Monday thru Thursday. If a child is registered in the youth camp as well as the specialty camp, they will join the youth camp at 12:00 pm. All specialty camps are open to ages 7-13. The following specialty camps will be offered this year:

Aquatics camp is the "coolest" camp around this summer. Campers will be taught different swim strokes, learn the fundamentals of waterpolo, participate in relays, water basketball, and many more fun watr activities. | |

Avril Butbul will be doing many creative 2 and 3 dimensional projects. We will make a ceramic vessel which we will fire and glaze We will work with pastels and watercolors to complete a still life. We will explore printmaking and also paint on silk with French dyes and these will be framed. We will also work with inks, melted crayon and acrylic paint on canvas. | |
